MUSIC
In the Skowronki choir sing girls aged 14 to 21 years. Musical education is based on a variety of pieces. The girls sing Gregorian chants, Renaissance madrigals, motets, romantic works and music of the twentieth and twenty-first century. The priority in the work with the ensemble is to care about the artistic quality of performed music. Proper intonation and timbre, an interpretation consistent with the style of the work are the basic elements of Skowronki’s beautiful music. Also extremely important is the joy and naturalness in behavior on the stage which emanate from girls while singing. During the rehearsals girls are also learning how to read music sheets by voice (solfeggio), have group voice lessons and classes of stage movement.
